I'm a teacher, play read, and professional active. I have six years of teaching experience at the elementary and middle school levels, and I call on my acting experience to create fun and engaging lessons. I'm certified by the state of Pennsylvania to teach language arts at the middle school and high school levels, social studies at the middle school and high school levels, and general elementary school subjects. I have a bachelor's degree in theater, and graduate degree in education. I've also performed additional coursework in history and literature. I believe every student has the ability to achieve success, and it's my role to figure out how to help them learn in the most efficient way so that they can work through learning obstacles and reach their goals. I like to create a learning environment so that students are accountable and responsible, but I also make learning fun. I can tutor algebra, elementary math, reading comprehension, English, literature, history, and test preparation for the ACT, PSAT, SAT, and more.
